The growing opposition to wind farms across rural Scotland was highlighted in a BBC news story reporting on a round table meeting at the Scottish Parliament, attended by MSPs and community representatives from the Highlands, north-east Scotland, Perth & Kinross and the south of Scotland. And a letter [see attached document] to Community Councils in Perth & Kinross encouraged them to support a Unified Statement by Community Councils throughout Scotland, calling on the Scottish Government to pause all major renewable energy applications.
