Prizes galore at the ‘Comrie Fortnight’ street market!
We are hugely grateful to local businesses who provided a wonderful selection of prizes for the quoits game we ran at the Street Market in Legion Park on 25th July. As well as prizes and plenty of fun, this was a great opportunity for Save Glen Lednock to spread the message about our campaign against the damaging impacts of the proposed Glen Lednock and Glentarken wind farms.
The 19 prizes were donated by: Glenturret Distillery, ‘No.1 Dunira’ interiors and vintage shop, Comrie; The Hideaway, home and garden shop, Comrie; Hansen’s Kitchen, Comrie: Comrie Croft Bikes; Tomnah’a Market Garden at Comrie Croft; Nowhere Sauna at Comrie Croft; Comrie Dog Park; Forest School Bushcraftbairns; Auchingarrich Wildlife and Adventure Park; and SAÍN Outdoors.
The photos show Steve Potter aiming for the targets, and Save Glen Lednock’s Andrew Templeton, Felicity Martin and Martin Downing taking a momentary break from volunteering duties.
